SUCCULENTS & SECRETS (and murder)

A story with suspense, humor, transformation, and a wee bit of murder. Maggie is stuck in life and love, but is soon catapulted into an adventure after an accident and an opportunity to be an informant to the police in uncovering a murderous network in her own community, led by the elite gardening club. She soon finds herself in ridiculous situations, a romantic tug-of-war, espionage, artistic inspiration…and she becomes very unstuck.

A collection of stories and lessons for some of life’s harsh truths, wrapped in yogic principles on dealing with them. It’s not all about puppies and kittens, with titles like “So Your Fat?”, “Cruel Intentions”, and “Please, just shut up”.

GROWING UP GERMAN

In one blog post,  I refer to a book called “Growing Up German“. It’s a feel-good novel of girls growing up. Based partially on my real-life experience growing up in the United States in an immigrant family. It’s, of course, funny and a little heartbreaking, but mostly about surviving being different and having life challenges.
