I became a yoga teacher in 2019. It was shortly after being diagnosed with breast cancer. My intention at the time was to learn more about yoga, as I had been doing it for about five years and wanted to learn more.
It became so much more than a distraction for what I was going through physically.
Then, during COVID, I started to teach, genuinely needing to connect to others, but also for others to connect. It helped shape how I teach and appreciate the community of yoga and mindfulness. Teaching in a mask, with three lovely souls in a giant room…we made progress…we made our way back to each other. Now, it’s big rooms and big groups. The energy is amazing.
I teach: Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Nidra and Restorative in studio, private and on rooftops (for reals).

Something sweet and unexpected. I was inspired by others to start a breakfast big tippers club. The expectation is to leave an insane large tip for someone in the service industry who really needs support. This is based in the Chicago area, and we accept nominations for locations and servers. Send them via the contact form.
